Pottery Classes now available

So after a number of years being asked if I offer classes, I'm delighted to finally change my answer from a negative to a positive one! And yes, I do do pottery classes!

I have teamed up with Patricia Conesa, another Tramore potter; you might have seen her wonderful mugs with hand drawn images of street scenes in places like the Seagull Bakery in Tramore or the Magpie Collective in Waterford.

We have spent the past few months working really hard and now we are delighted to be able to offer a range of pottery classes for you.  We plan to bring the fun of working with clay to kids and adults in a friendly, creative space. Our pottery classes will focus on social connection and self-discovery through making.

Our Tramore after-school kids classes focus on creating a fun and relaxed space where children can bring out their inner artist. We’ll show them techniques like coiling, slab-building, and pinch pots, and provide plenty of encouragement and freedom to explore their own ideas. Later, we’ll dive into decorating their pieces using glazes, underglazes, and some unexpected tools! At the end of the six-week term, we’ll throw an exhibition party where each artist can showcase their creations.

Our Tramore after-school pottery classes for teens offer a relaxed, creative space to unwind, connect, and express ideas through clay. Teens will also learn hand-building techniques, with a choose-your-own-story approach that encourages creative freedom. Pottery is fun and mindful — it helps build confidence, focus, and resilience through hands-on making, and gets all that good dopamine flowing! At the end of the six-week term, we’ll hold an exhibition party to showcase everyone’s creations and celebrate the friendships made along the way.

Our adult pottery classes in Tramore are all about unwinding and having fun — whether you're just finishing a hectic week at work or escaping the kids for a few hours. We focus on creating a relaxed, social experience where making is more important than perfection. Bring a friend or come make new ones! These beginner-friendly classes are for everyone — whether your last pottery experience was back in preschool or you're returning to clay after a break, all are welcome!
